By the way, the YouTuber is not the first Titan to solo Oryx; another Titan managed to do it the night before – he used practically the same strategy, but did not record a video.
Nothing works without the Touch of Malice
There are two important prerequisites:
- With a high light level, you can take more damage. The YouTuber is at the maximum of 400 during this attempt.
- The Touch of Malice: With “Touch of Malice”, you can keep Oryx’s chest open longer.
If you follow the procedure in the video, with the Touch of Malice and the sword strategy, this should be possible for many Guardians. Perfect timing and outstanding skills are said to no longer be necessary. In the comments, one user states that probably very few will be crazy enough to try this. The performance in the video is simply impressive. Another questions if the YouTuber is even human.

It’s quite possible that Oryx will now be defeated solo more frequently – and that he will meet the same fate as his son. Unfortunately, the light level of the rewards is no longer relevant.
