The MMO shooter Destiny is a guest at E3 and will provide information, probably about the next expansion. But when?
We know there will be information from Bungie about Destiny at E3. The question at the moment is: When? They announced the date of June 16, US time, which would be tomorrow.
Unlike “big” publishers like Electronic Arts, Bethesda and others, there is no clear date for when Bungie will jump on stage and say: “Get out of the way, we’re coming, lights out, popcorn out, here comes the trailer.”
Three appearances in three hours?
However, it seems that a schedule is taking shape:
- At 11:40 PM (our time) late Tuesday evening, they have a 20-minute appearance on the US site IGN. This might be where the new expansion is presented for the first time.
- In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday at 2:00 AM, they have a half-hour appearance at Gamespot. Here there could be additional information.
Regardless of where exactly the important information will come from, it is already clear: It will happen on the night of Tuesday, June 16, to Wednesday, June 17.
However, it could also be that there will be some initial information Tuesday morning. Perhaps Destiny is a guest at Sony. Their press conference takes place in the night from Monday to Tuesday at 3:00 AM. It could happen, but it might not.
Everyone expects information about Destiny’s “The Taken King”
Everyone actually expects that they will present the next expansion “The Taken King”. There have already been some leaks beforehand: The expansion will cost 40 dollars, introduce three new subclasses, and it will be against Crota’s father Oryx, and so on. For now, everything is still speculation, which will soon be either dispelled or confirmed.
