On reddit, a user proudly presented his latest achievement in Destiny: As part of the Iron Banner, the sniper rifle Weyloran’s March dropped – with an interesting roll.
The Iron Banner is currently ongoing in Destiny. Lord Saladin invites all guardians to this special PVP event.
As part of this event, there are Iron Banner-specific weapons and armor to grab – either they drop randomly after matches, or you acquire them directly from our Lord when you have reached the necessary rank.
From rank 3, the Iron Banner sniper rifle “Weyloran’s March” can drop after matches. Now, a user on reddit shared a picture of his sniper with the community. He found his gun after a match, and it comes with a roll that the user himself calls “insane”.
Is the “insane roll” really that insane? Aim assist divides the community
Initially, his sniper rifle has the perk “Hidden Hand“. This improves the weapon’s aim accuracy. Since the weapon naturally comes with an aim assist of 79, “Hidden Hand” significantly increases the fun.
According to the user, stability doesn’t matter at all, as the bullet would fly “magically” into the heads of the opponents. With “perfect balance” and snapshot, making aiming with this weapon super fast, Weyloran’s March becomes the “insane weapon”.
Additionally, this Iron Banner sniper from the user has the perk “Guerilla Fighter“. This improves precision, handling, and damage resistance when firing this weapon from cover. All together, this makes the weapon a perfect “Camping Headshot Machine“.
The user concluded:
“I love this weapon, but this perk combo is just so unfair.”
In the comments, there is a heated discussion and advice to be a bit more sparing with terms like “insane roll” or “insane weapon”. Furthermore, the increased aim assist is by no means a guarantee that every shot will be a headshot. The user shouldn’t get too excited too soon.
