In the MMO shooter Destiny parts of “House of Wolves” seem to be active now.
Since yesterday, reports have increased that the Crucible activity “Recovery” already offers special rewards. Apparently, the new legendary weapons are already available here, which Bungie actually wanted to activate only from this evening.
With the names and descriptions of the weapons, Bungie shows once again its wit and bite. Naming an automatic rifle with the “internet joke”: First Rule “Don’t hold your Breath” has the typical Bungie humor. “Don’t hold your breath” means: But don’t wait too eagerly, don’t hold your breath, it will take longer. In shooting training, breathing is also important for shooters.
The pulse rifle “Spare Change.25” translates to “change”; the flavor text then reads: “That’s right. You can keep it.” Bungie is known for inserting a gag or two into legendary weapons, and not everything can be deciphered at first glance.
According to reports, at least one member of the team would receive a “legendary weapon” in each round, starting with 331 damage, which can later be upgraded with an Etheric Light and can also be “re-rolled”.
There are already true legends out there, weapons that through special attribute combinations are expected to hit hard: a scout rifle NA3D1 Salvation State with Firefly or this hot shotgun Party Crasher +1. So if you’re looking for something to do until 7 PM: “Recovery looks tempting.”
And by the way: It seems there are also Exotics dropping in the new release. The first Gjallarhorn has also been spotted, they say.
The official launch of “House of Wolves” is set for today, May 19, after 7 PM German time. Then the weapons should become common. At the moment they are still curiosities.
