This week’s video in Destiny is all about feelings.
Bungie selects the video of the week every week, and we then add our own favorites.
Bungie has chosen a Crucible video: it’s not particularly special gameplay. It’s beautiful because a friend of the YouTuber is completely immersed in the background, cheering on the player enthusiastically at every moment. The typical comment when watching the video is: I want a friend like that, and I want them to accompany and cheer for me everywhere!
Our video of the week is a montage from the TV series “Mad Men” and Destiny. In Mad Men, adman Don Draper gives a nostalgic presentation via a slide projector about how we travel into the past. By turning typical family photos into Destiny scenes, the clip becomes a tribute to all Year-One players and a journey into the past for them.
A highlight of the week, a PvP montage from arguably the best player tripleWRECK, unfortunately we cannot show you, as the video is blocked in Germany. Otherwise, it would have had a good chance. Accept this impressive Crucible montage from another player as a substitute.
What’s happening in August’s Iron Banner in Destiny?
Oh, and although it doesn’t fit thematically, it fits time-wise.
At 7:00 PM on July 28, the August Iron Banner in Destiny began. The rewards are:
- the sniper rifle Efrideet’s Spear
- the hand cannon Timur’s Lash
- also Chest Armor and Helmet Armor
- and the usual stuff like Etheric Light and so on.
