The Festival of the Lost is in full swing, and the Guardians have discovered some secrets that aren’t in Bungie’s database. Some are already flying through the Destiny universe like “Harry Potter” on a broom! We are compiling what the community has already discovered.
How to get the Lost Broom – Location of the Halloween Sparrow
This special Broom Sparrow is not included in Treasures of the Lost and is not tied to a quest. You have to search for it yourself! You can do this as soon as you log in.
The location of the Lost Broom is at the Tower: march towards the Hangar and turn into the Hangar Bar. Walk past the gesture collection, keep to the right and jump up on the crates on the right side. The broom is there. Once you pick it up, it will be in your inventory as a Sparrow and can be used.
However: It will expire at the end of the festival. You can see the exact location and what it looks like in the following video:
How to get the Halloween Shader Super Black – From Raisins to Celery
This extremely black shader is a guaranteed reward for a task in the Tower. You don’t have to hope for luck or spend real money to get it.
Let’s start with Eva Levante. She gives you the task of speaking to several vendors in the Tower to collect sweets. However, Eris Morn has no candy for you, just raisins. More precisely: A tiny box of raisins.
- With the raisins, you now run to the Speaker. For 25 Light particles, he will exchange the raisins for Ascendant Raisins.
- With the Ascendant Raisins, you go to Zavala, who will give you a Salty Treat.
- You bring the Salty Treat to the Cryptarch. He will give you a Winged Candy for it.
- You take the Winged Candy to Amanda Holliday. She has Spleice Drops for you.
- With the Spleice Drops, you run back to the Vanguard Hall. This time to Cayde-6. He has Unsweet chocolate for you.
- Finally, you bring the Unsweet chocolate to Eris Morn, where you will receive a Bag of Treats.
You will now open this bag in your inventory: You are guaranteed to receive the Shader Super Black (which does not disappear after the festival) and a Piece of Celery that is slightly withered.
What you do with the celery is still unknown. No vendor exchanges it for something else – neither in the Tower, the Reef, nor in the Iron Temple.
However, you should not give it away yet. Maybe the piece of celery still has a function that will come to light later. Perhaps Xur likes celery…
