In the MMO shooter Destiny the servers will be offline this evening. Maintenance work is taking place, an update is likely to be deployed.
Regular readers know, when the robot appears as the title image, then maintenance work for Destiny is imminent.
Today, on August 18th, around 7:00 PM our time, the servers will be taken down, and “final preparations will be made” for the distribution of the Nepal Shader.

Furthermore, they want to accomplish “other things” as well. What exactly that means and how long this maintenance will take, Bungie does not specify. It could take a few hours again. That’s usually how long it takes. We will keep you updated if there are any news.
