What changes today, on Tuesday?
There are no content adjustments or game changes today. The player experience is not meant to be affected. Instead, Bungie intends to implement features that will help them gather player data better.
The community manager DeeJ writes that he doesn’t want to sound creepy, but when you play Destiny, Bungie is always watching. They know everything about your Guardian existence: which activities you play, which gear you wear, and with whom you complete missions. This information would help the developers create better games. This is one of the reasons why you must always be online in Destiny.
This update is intended to improve the data collection. They apologize in advance for any inconvenience, but what is good for the engineering team is ultimately also good for the players.
Tomorrow, on March 8th, there will be a reveal stream for the next and final content update of Destiny 1: Age of Triumph. We will be live-tweeting in German. Until then, you can guess here if the Fatebringer will lose the Arc damage.
