In the MMO shooter Destiny , an update will be rolled out tonight, and the Iron Banner is coming.
Tonight at 7:00 PM, an update is scheduled to be rolled out in Destiny. At the moment, it doesn’t seem like there will be a prolonged server downtime. Bungie only speaks about players needing to log out to orbit and download a patch.
At 10AM PST on Tuesday, November 17th, Destiny players may be asked to login again upon returning to orbit to download a patch.

Patch notes are not available yet, but it is known that the patch is supposed to do the following:
- Guardians will be able to purchase weapon parts from Banshee-44, who wants Glimmer in return.
- The Quiver of the Nightstalker will work again, allowing him to fire 3 Shadowshots again.
- And some quests and Crucible bounties will be simplified, especially the lengthy search from Shaxx.
When the patch is rolled out, a new Iron Banner is also supposed to start. This time in the “Conflict” mode. Bungie has promised significantly improved rewards for this.
