In Destiny the next update, the next patch, surprisingly coming on Monday, December 1st.
Bungie tweeted on Sunday evening our time, around 7 PM, surprisingly, that they are already planning an update for Monday, December 1st. This is scheduled for “Monday morning” US Pacific time, which is Monday afternoon our time.
There are still no patch notes or more specific information on what this update will contain. However, one can assume that it will concern the exotic weapons. Buffs for these have been anticipated for a while. Among other things, Dorn, Bad Juju, and the Vex Mythoclast are set to be upgraded. Perhaps they will also tackle the boring farming of planet materials, which has also been on the agenda for a while and is due soon.
Additionally, it is possible that more data for the DLC “Darkness Looms” will be rolled out. It is set to be released on December 9th, perhaps there are still some data missing that will only go live a week later. Technical improvements and numerous bug fixes have also been included in every update in the past. Ultimately, these are still speculations. Exactly what it involves is not known at the moment.
Destiny will be updated tomorrow morning (12/1). Stay tuned for more information!

As Bungie communicates via Twitter, the patch will indeed focus on fine-tuning the exotic weapons as announced. The patch is expected to be released before 11 AM Pacific time. This means for us: still before 8 PM in the evening.
Which exotic weapons exactly are involved will surely be revealed to us soon.
It’s clear: Bad Juju and Dorn will be included. The Vex Mythoclast is also almost certain. In the image back then which is now being reposted, were moreover: The Suros Regime, Red Death, Pocket Infinity, and Super Good Advice. All these weapons could likely be affected by the changes. The question remains whether it will actually be beneficial for all. That seems quite doubtful for the Suros Regime.
Update 19:10: Here it continues: Destiny: Patch 1.1 changes everything regarding exotic weapons and armors
