Today, on November 8th, Hotfix 2.4.1.1 is coming for PS4 and Xbox One in Destiny. We summarize the known information about it.

There is quite a lot going on today in the MMO shooter Destiny. You can find out everything that awaits you today and which activities are already live in our “Weekly Reset” article.
This includes a hotfix marked 2.4.1.1. It will appear in the early evening for PS4 and Xbox One. Here are the times:
- At 6:30 PM the hotfix will be applied. Return to the login screen. If you fly to the orbit, the hotfix download will start.
- At 7 PM the Iron Banner in November will start. There should be enough time to have downloaded and installed the hotfix by then.
- At 11 PM all guardians who have not yet installed the hotfix will be removed from their activities and taken back to the login screen to download the update.
What does the hotfix change?
Bungie states that the patch notes will only be released at the update’s launch. However, some information is already known:
- There will be “Quality of Life” improvements, which are small changes that improve the player experience.
- A crucible map fix is coming
- and more.
The community manager Cozmo already provided more detailed information. He revealed that this hotfix would also bring the changes to Silver Dust that he announced a few weeks ago. We have already reported on this and will now quote ourselves:
The patch will change the Silver Dust economy to enhance the player experience. Bungie wants players who conquer the toughest challenges in “Rise of Iron” to be rewarded for their success. Therefore, you will no longer need Silver Dust to equip the ornaments from the Trials, from “Wrath of the Machine,” and from the “Iron Lord” armor. However, you still need the currency for exotic weapon ornaments.
Furthermore, the Dusty Iron Engrams will be adjusted concerning this: If you dismantle the gear you find in them, you currently receive Legendary Marks. After the patch, you should receive Silver Dust for that.
In winter, larger changes to the Silver Dust economy are expected to improve the player experience further.
