The update 2.5.0 with version 1.30 is available for download for Destiny. Here are the patch notes.
Now nothing stands in the way of the Dawning. The preparatory update 2.5.0 is here. Once it is installed, you can start the winter event, which brings numerous new features.
It has been known for a few days now that the update 2.5.0 reworks the skeleton keys. You will receive more of them and even a guaranteed key per week. Here are the complete patch notes.
Patch Notes Update 2.5.0
Many of the changes are already known, which you can read about in the links provided above. Particularly exciting highlights from the patch notes:
- Amanda Holliday, Eva Levante, and Zavala have quests for you.
- Your SRL rank is back to 0.
- The SIVA Crisis Strike playlist (normal and heroic) now has all strikes that are available on your platform.
- You will take less damage from burning. The burning damage you inflict remains unchanged.
- Xur is selling exotic engrams again, but no more ornaments.
- You will receive a free “Treasure of the Dawning” per week by completing a weekly heroic strike. Additionally, you will receive a treasure per character when you reach rank 5 with Amanda Holliday.
- In return, the Radiant treasure is added as a reward for the first completed weekly PvP match.
- In the Crucible, you can “wave” heavy ammo if everyone performs the corresponding gesture within the first 30 seconds of the match.
- Icarus has been removed from the Rift playlist.
- In Control, victory is achieved at 120 points.
- In Rumble Control, the win score is 40.
- There are numerous bug fixes in the Grimoire.
- In Eververse, the Treasures of the Dawning are available for purchase. They include new sparrows, ornaments, horns, armor, and consumables.
