Activision’s marketing strategists are currently promoting energy drinks and Pop-Tarts to attract Destiny players. They could have simply asked the community, which has come up with its own Hearthstone- cards designed in the Destiny style.
Reddit user thelegoman0 proves that it doesn’t take sticky candies to promote a game. The 41 Hearthstone cards designed in the Destiny style he presented are lovingly crafted:
Although the project is intended as a fun and fan initiative, the cards are not designed completely unrealistically. The new life steal ability from the expansion Knights of the Frozen Throne is included.

Alongside the standard adversaries of the Vex, Fallen, and Hive, there are also some hefty bosses included as Legendary cards, like Crota, son of Oryx, or Taniks.
Also, combat-specific equipment has been considered. We can find Crota’s sword or Skolas’ cannon. From the weapon arsenal of Destiny 1, we find the long-popular Red Death and the Warlock weapon Tlaloc.

Super and special abilities must also be present. Nova Bomb and Golden Gun are included, as well as the Titan bubble. Hunters can play with their throwing knife.
Even though this is a fan project, a collaboration between Blizzard and Bungie for Hearthstone is not so unlikely. They have already teamed up for the PC release of Destiny 2 on October 24, so why not collaborate on other levels? There would certainly be enough potential.
What do you think of the idea of playing Hearthstone cards in the Destiny style?
