In the MMO shooter Destiny the wrapper of the Pit, the white auto rifle, seems to have not only become very rare but may have completely disappeared from the game.
Five days ago, it was said: The “wrapper of the Pit” is all fine. It is very, very rare, but still in the game. Since the House of Wolves began, the “white weapon” could still sporadically be collected from the Knights of Crota in the mission “Fist of Crota”.
For weeks, Guardians have been complaining: I can’t get the weapon anymore. Time and again it was said: Stay tuned, this is just very rare.
Now Bungie has confirmed: This is indeed a bug. The wrapper of the Pit is currently not available from the Knights of Crota. They are investigating this.
The special thing about the “wrapper of the Pit” is that it can become the exotic auto rifle Necrochasm – and that rifle is likely one of the big winners of the upcoming balance changes with “The Taken King”.
At Bungie, they thank for the many reports. Some players are upset that they were long reassured with “Everything is fine” until the Bungie support team finally investigated the matter more closely.
