Today marks the start of the Trials of Osiris in Destiny. The question of all questions is: On which map will it be played?
The Trials of Osiris? Just a few days ago, that was hardly even a thought. The ongoing connection issues caused by nasty beavers made gaming in the Destiny universe nearly impossible.
Since last night, the issue has been alleviated with the hotfix 2.3.1.1 on PS4 and Xbox One, allowing the Trials to proceed relatively smoothly. Last-gen Guardians will still have to wait for the update. This is expected to go live today on PS3 and Xbox 360, as Bungie announced via Twitter.
The Trials start today, on July 29th, at 7 PM. They will last until Tuesday, until the weekly reset.
This week, the map Asylum will be played.
In the Trials, you will compete against each other in teams of three in the Elimination mode. You want to fill your scorecard with victories: With 5 and 7 wins, you receive random rewards from Osiris’s loot pool. With a “flawless” ticket, you can travel to Mercury and open a special chest that only the best Guardians have ever seen.

These Guardians were less inclined to fight in the last Trials, but rather for a joyride that ended unexpectedly.
