In Destiny, the Trials of Osiris start today, on October 28th. Which map will be played?
Tonight, the first Trials will start during the “Festival of the Lost” 2016. Bungie has already announced that they will be “scarier” and will feature certain items with a Halloween style. However, they were not specific about this. If there are exciting updates, you will find out here.
Update: Guardians are reporting that the radar is disabled. Additionally, revives are not possible! This has been confirmed.
The following emblem can be exclusively obtained in the Trials during the festival:
Starting at 7 PM, you can venture into the Trials of Osiris. They will last until the next Weekly Reset, which will be on Tuesday at 10 AM. This week the map being played is The Cauldron.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three and try to fill your scorecard with wins. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen teammates can be revived. Here, not only strong gear counts, but also communication among the Guardians. A good knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 wins, there are random rewards from Osiris’s loot pool. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can obtain a “flawless” ticket to access Mercury and loot the chest with the fine loot.
