In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris start today, on May 19th. Which map will be played?
Yesterday, on May 18th, just hours before the official gameplay reveal of Destiny 2, there was a leak. The majority of this leak has now been confirmed – however, it also contains information for which we currently have no official statements.
According to this, there will be no more Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2. The reason: they are to be renamed to Trials of the Nine.
What the future holds regarding this leak will remain to be seen. Currently, this weekly PvP event is still called Trials of Osiris. And the Trials this week start today.
At 7 PM our time, the whistle for the Trials will sound. They will last until next Tuesday, May 23rd. This time, the map Exodus Blue will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three against each other and try to fill your points card with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. It’s not just about having strong gear, but also about communication among the guardians. A thorough knowledge of the map is advantageous.
At 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from Osiris’ treasure. Additionally, you should keep an eye on the bounties from Brother Vance for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with fine loot there.
Good luck in the Trials, guardians.
