Tonight, on November 11th, the Trials of Osiris begin in Destiny. Which map is next?
The Trials of the last two weeks delivered differently than usual: They took place during the Festival of the Lost and were more “spooky” than before. For this, the radar was disabled and revives were not possible. However, there was a beautiful badge to earn: Starting today, the Trials of Osiris, the weekly PvP events, should return to normal. No more spiders crawling across the screen. Next week, a feature is coming that should please streamers of the Trials in particular. Streamers have always liked to use the Trials to showcase their skills to the community. Soon this will be even easier and more exciting for viewers, as Bungie brings Twitch features to their website.
This week’s Trials cannot benefit from that yet. They start tonight at 6 PM and end next Tuesday at the Weekly Reset at 10 AM. The match will be played on the map First Light.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in thrilling PvP matches in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in three-member teams and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only strong equipment matters, but also communication among the Guardians. A thorough knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 wins, there are random rewards from Osiris’s inventory. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are currently in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
