Today, on March 31, the Trials of Osiris begin in Destiny. Which map will be played?
The update 2.6.0 last Tuesday brought several changes that directly affect the Trials. Regarding the bounties:
- Existing Trials bounties remain in the player’s inventory and can be completed to receive the corresponding rewards.
- New versions of the bounties are now offered by Brother Vance and can be completed daily when the Trials of Osiris are active.
- Armor and weapon rewards from bounties have been updated and now include all “Year 3” items that do not have the “Masterwork” attribute.
Additionally:
- A bug has been fixed that allowed a player in the surviving team to continue the round by using “Fireborn” even if all opponents were eliminated.
Furthermore, there were balance adjustments, such as the Scori and hand cannon nerf or that the No Land Beyond no longer has flinch. You can find the patch notes for 2.6.0 here.
The Trials of Osiris start today at 7 PM. They will last until the weekly reset next Tuesday. This time the map The Burning Shrine will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in three-member teams and try to fill your points card with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. It is not only about having strong equipment but also about communication among the Guardians. A good knowledge of the map is beneficial.
With 5 and 7 wins, you gain random rewards from Osiris’s loot pool. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you are in top form, you can use a “flawless” ticket to access Mercury and raid the chest with the fine loot.
Good luck in the Trials, Guardians.
