What about the old raids? Will they be upgraded again?
No, neither the Glass Chamber nor Crota’s End will become harder or receive new rewards. The same goes for Prison of Elders. In September, they will not be part of the progression curve. The new raid is “King’s Fall.” Here lie the challenges.
The Year 1 raids will remain interesting for collectors, as they drop the original items. Those new to the game can experience them as originally intended, it is further stated.
What about the old achievements, are they still achievable?
All Year 1 achievements will still be achievable in Year 2. Certain achievements have been revised to ensure they can still be achieved under the new conditions.
New achievements and trophies are coming with The Taken King.
What is Destiny doing to improve the Crucible?
They have nothing to announce for September regarding laggers and cheaters. However, they are working hard on it. For September, they promise a “tighter skill matchmaking system”, aiming for more balanced matches. This is very important.
What is happening in the Reef?
Petra Venj will receive a new storyline regarding how the Awoken react to Oryx. This continues the “House of Wolves” storyline.
What about the Trials of Osiris?
The Trials of Osiris are returning and will have new adjusted rewards.
