Why was the vault expanded?
Being able to expand the vault was like a miracle. That wasn’t foreseeable a month ago. It is about storage. This is limited and desired on consoles. The technicians managed to extract a little more in long days of work. Their work is compared to that of miners who eventually found the “gold mine”.
These additional resources went directly into the vault. Finding such a vein was not something one could count on. That’s why they were always so secretive about the vault. Without this “miracle”, they wanted to expand the vault, but only by three additional slots. Therefore, they didn’t want to announce it at all, because they thought the fans would freak out – and not in a good way.
They avoided the question of whether Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were hindering development, spoke of turning water into wine, and praised the tech team again.
Will Titans be as strong as the other classes?
Titan players feel that their class is the weakest in PvP. Bungie promises to take a close look at this, question the six original class kits, and balance them if necessary.
They understand the frustration of defender Titans in PvP, even though they consider a well-played defender Titan to be a top choice in PvE. With the upcoming Patch 2.0. the bubble in PvP could improve, allowing it to block the Hunter super “Razor’s Edge”.
Sunbreaker, the new Titan spec, seems to be viewed by Bungie as the “sexiest new subclass”, which Titans can look forward to, feeling they have been shortchanged.
On the next page, we’ll provide more information on Year 1 Exotics and their role in Year 2.
