The Dragon Breath – neither fish nor flesh – just dragon
The exotic rocket launcher Dragon Breath had little opportunity to shine in year 1. The Gjallarhorn was a blast with its hefty, pure damage and played in a class of its own. The second rocket launcher, “Truth”, was ahead in PvP thanks to its targeting.
When “Dragon Breath” came out, no one knew what to do with it. The weapon had a shining moment in the Twilight when it managed to shove the boss Crota off the platform and into death with the AE damage field. Not the fine exotic way.
In year 1, it had three shots thanks to “Tripod”, and “Pyromaniac” left the projectiles with an AE damage field. Perhaps Destiny will have a bit more love for the dragon in year 2. To get past the Truth, the Thunderlord, or the exotic swords, it will probably need to learn one or two new tricks.
