In the MMO shooter Destiny, the final trials of Osiris are taking place today for PS3 and Xbox 360. For PS4 and Xbox One, they are suspended for several weeks before “Rise of Iron”.
In the “This Week at Bungie,” they reflect on the tumultuous days of Gamescom. The time was described as a “wonderful, pretzel-fed, hyped dream.” But now, they look ahead. In early September, Bungie will head to PAX West. There, the focus will be on PvP: Private Matches and the “Control” mode can be extensively tested.
Short Break for the Trials
Furthermore, the last dates for Osiris’ trials before “The Dawning of Iron Lords” have been announced. They will be influenced by the expansion in the following manner:
- PS4 and Xbox One: After the weekend of September 2nd, the Trials will take a break. They will return on September 30th (Friday) at 7 PM.
- PS3 and Xbox 360: This coming weekend, from August 26th to August 30th, the last trials will take place on the old consoles. This weekly PvP event will no longer appear in the navigator from then on. If you want to participate in the Trials in the future, you will need to upgrade to the current console generation.
By the way: You must own “The Dawning of Iron Lords” to be able to play Osiris’ trials starting September 30th.
Note: The Level 25 class packages are no longer available on PS4 and Xbox One. If someone purchased them “by accident” on the old consoles, they can contact PlayStation or Xbox support.
Last night, there were temporary issues with the Destiny servers. Guardians reported Tapir error codes. Bungie announced within a few minutes that the problems were resolved.
