In Destiny, solutions for the challenge modes in the raid “Vault of Glass” are known. This is how you defeat Atheon and the Templar in the challenges to get the extra loot.
On April 4th at 11 AM, the Vault of Glass was activated for the first time in the 390 light level version. Just a little over an hour later, the first Guardians reported: We have completed the challenges!
According to Senior Raid Designer Joe Blackburn, you will find in the Vault of Glass the greatest challenge Bungie has ever made. However, it did not stand against the Guardians for too long.
Since the Age of Triumph, there are two raid challenges in the Vault of Glass: The first is with the Templar, the second is with the final boss Atheon himself.
Vault of Glass 390 – How to handle the challenge with the Templar
The challenge consists of blocking the teleport phases of the Templar. He must not teleport.
Tip: The teleport can be blocked not only by the relic bearer but by any Guardian by standing in the teleport circle that appears before the Templar teleports. These circles look like this:
The relic was always carried by one Guardian in a successfully completed challenge.
Notes: During the fight against the Templar, one Guardian grabs the relic, fills their super by killing a few enemies, and uses this to break the Templar’s shield. The strike team can now deal damage to him. Normally, the Templar would teleport away after a short time and rebuild his shield. Then the game repeats.
In the challenge, you prevent him from teleporting away. Therefore, his shield stays down. You only have to destroy the shield once and then ensure that he does not teleport. Destroy him and the challenge is complete.

Vault of Glass 390 – The challenge with Atheon
This challenge requires practice to master. Therefore, do not give up if you do not succeed on the first attempt. Communication is key!
With Atheon, you will be teleported to other locations where you must destroy oracles. The challenge consists of each Guardian having to eliminate one oracle per phase.
On Venus and Mars, there are six oracles, which means that the Guardians who are not teleported directly must enter the portal and eliminate one oracle each to complete the challenge. Keep in mind that one must always stay outside. The Guardian who has already eliminated the first oracle returns immediately so the other Guardians can step through the portal.
Tip: At the bottom left of the screen, you will be shown which person destroyed an oracle.
In short: Each Guardian must eliminate one oracle per phase. If a Guardian eliminates multiple oracles or a Guardian dies, the challenge has failed.
With Titan Bubble and the Sleeper Simulant, it should be possible to successfully complete the challenge after just one phase. Here is a video about it:
