In the MMO shooter Destiny, the hunt for the Sleeper Simulant continues today. This heavy fusion rifle can be found starting today.
Players are still searching for the heavy fusion rifle Sleeper Simulant. Just yesterday, it was thought the hunt was paused, but today, Thursday, October 8th, a new mission has appeared. Is the hunt coming to an end?
Just yesterday, there was a new set of steps for players who had found 4 fusion relics. The mission “The First Firewall” had to be completed, then four codes had to be entered at the Strange Transmitter, followed by solving 5 tasks. The IKELOS fusion core could be handed in to the weapon master of Destiny at the end of all that. In the end, however, the disappointment: nothing happened! Banshee-44 was silent.
At today’s reset at 11:00 AM, the surprise: there is a new quest from Banshee-44. And it practically screams: Sleeper Simulant!
“The Sleeper stirs” sends players into a 280 special version of the SABER Strike.

Update: So, it seems that you simply get Sleeper Simulant after handing in the strike. The weapon is in the game with a power level of 290. The SABER Strike has an epic modifier but seems to not be a big problem.
It seems that there has to be a day between the end of yesterday’s quest and the start of today’s quest. At least that’s the first reports from players.

- Step 1: Find the four Dvalin relics and hand them in to Banshee-44.
- Step 2: (This is only possible on certain days) Accept and complete the mission: The First Firewall. How to deal with the codes for the Strange Receiver and the IKELOS fusion core has been described yesterday.
- Step 3: After handing in the fusion core, wait a day until the next daily reset.
- Step 4: Accept the quest “The Sleeper stirs” from Banshee-44, then complete the Saber Strike in the special mission.
- Step 5: Profit. The exotic fusion rifle Sleeper Simulant.
The hunt is over. There was no call needed at Banshee-44, and there were no big secrets to discover. The crucial step yesterday was simply behind a time lock and opened up, followed by another time lock with the “1 day wait.” Fewer secrets than initially suspected.
