In Destiny, many legends and mysteries revolve around the last secret chest in the raid “The Glass Vault.” Where is the 6th treasure chest? And does it even exist?
The Guardians and the Secret of the Sixth Chest
Bungie is famous for hiding Easter eggs and secrets in their games. And the Destiny community is crazy about decoding them. Shortly after the release, players decoded ciphers and entered coordinates to find out where, for instance, the Tower was geographically located in our world.
However, most energy in Destiny has been spent since release trying to discover another secret somewhere in the raid “The Glass Vault.” Despite hundreds of thousands of players already wandering through the halls, it is suspected that something hidden still lurks somewhere.
So far, five chests have been found, one of which is quite hidden and only appears when the Templar is defeated before he can teleport. Now, there’s nothing spectacular in this “Templar” chest, but at least the Guardians found something. The spirit of discovery is awakened. This has only fueled conspiracy theories.

Is This Wall Drawing the Key?
There are videos of Guardians closely examining a wall drawing on Venus and suspecting that in it (“If you tilt it and turn it 180 degrees!”) is a secret sign from the developers, seeing a map of the raid in Destiny and believing that the sixth chest is marked here.
Repeatedly, a quote from a Bungie employee is brought up: “The Guardians have not seen everything in the Glass Vault yet!” This is interpreted as: “There are still secret treasures!”
This quote originates from the first weeks when the Guardians were not even in the “Hard Mode” yet and had actually still not seen everything.

“Come with me! I’ll show you a secret chest!
Bungie understands the cult around the supposedly last chest perfectly. A Guardian shared on reddit the story of how on Thanksgiving evening in the USA, DeeJ, Bungie’s community manager, took him and four other Guardians on a trip to the Glass Vault in his free time.
At the end of the raid, when Atheon was defeated, DeeJ then said: “Come with me! I’ll show you the secret chest!” DeeJ shot into the deep abyss behind Atheon and said: “There’s the chest!” One hesitated, while the other already jumped to his safe death. Meanwhile, DeeJ commented: “The guy believes everything.”
