In Year 1, automatic rifles with high impact were overpowered. The SUROS-Regime was one of the most sought-after weapons in the game. People spoke of the rule of the “white queen”. In Year 2, the gun lost its dominance with its white color. The patch 2.5.0.2 has, however, brought the SUROS-Regime back into a better light.
The patch increased the precision damage modifier of ARs from 1.25x to 1.3x. Additionally, the base damage of the “SUROS-Regime” archetype was increased by 2.5%. In practice, this means that the SUROS-Regime previously dealt 34 headshot damage in PvP with focused fire, and after the patch, it deals 36.
For this archetype, the range is rather low while the stability is increased. Compared to the “Year 1” SUROS-Regime, the stability is actually 11 points higher. Here are the specific stats:
The unique perk of the SUROS-Regime is the same as the weapon’s name, which ensures that the lower half of each magazine deals bonus damage. On kills, it can return health. This perk is also affected by the bug introduced with 2.5.0.2.
In short: According to the statistics, the SUROS-Regime is currently the automatic rifle that achieves the most kills in PvP. If you haven’t played with “Auto Rifles” for a while, then dig this weapon out of the vault.
