When will the new Exotics finally come to Destiny?
In December, Bungie brought two of the still missing 9 armor pieces into the game. They were pieces that apparently had been in the game as extremely rare drops due to a glitch.
But no sign of the remaining 7. Some thought Bungie was either using the December date, the SRL, or at the latest the April date, the “Taken Spring”, to spice up the game with new exotic items, but there were only “old reheated” Exotics and a PlayStation-exclusive sniper rifle.
This caused a lot of displeasure, especially since players already knew the “database Exotics”. Often one read: I paid for this, why am I not getting it? The game would benefit from receiving new Exotics.
It was added in December as one of two items.
Currently, it does not look like Destiny will bring new content before the fall expansion. Although some hope there might be a kind of “pre-event,” similar to “The Great Wolf Hunt” before “House of Wolves.” But whether we will get the missing Exotics seems questionable – so shortly before new content, it would be overshadowed. One thing is clear: Bungie has already brought back some “Exotics” that were long considered missing, in a different variant. Like the “Fate of All Fools” for example, which later became the Jade Rabbit.
Perhaps we will finally see some of the armor pieces with the upcoming expansion. Rarely has anything been lost in Destiny.
