Destiny 1 is coming to an end. The last dates are known. The Iron Banner and the Trials will soon be no longer available in Destiny 1.
Destiny 2 is approaching rapidly, and Bungie is now preparing the Guardians to experience their “last moments” in Destiny 1. Destiny 1 will still be playable after the launch of Destiny 2, but not in its full scope.
Both PvP events, the Iron Banner and the Trials, will come to an end in August. Although the Trials will return in Destiny 2 and, most likely, the Iron Banner as well, in Destiny 1, these modes will be discontinued in August.
- The last Iron Banner in Destiny 1 starts on August 1. It is the oldest PvP event, playable since the beta. The era ends on 8.8.2017.
- The last Trials of Osiris starts on August 11. If you still want to get to the Lighthouse, you have until August 15.
