There are two Arc weapons that aim to dethrone the Zhalo Supercell.
These are the top tier Arc primary weapons:
Fatebringer – Elemental damage is only interesting in PvE, and a weapon fully tailored for PvE is the hand cannon Fatebringer. With Outlaw, Firefly, and Explosive Rounds, it plows through enemy ranks – especially when Arc Burn is active. A disadvantage is the short range, which hand cannons have been nerfed further.
Ir Yut’s Fang – This scout rifle has no issues with range. It belongs to the mid scout rifle archetype with an impact of 48 and can do exactly what you expect from a scout: eliminate enemies at greater distances. It has problems at close range. It deals increased damage against Hive Majors.
Zhalo Supercell – This auto rifle remains a top weapon for PvE. Especially at shorter distances, the Zhalo clears adds like few other weapons.
Arc primary weapons – Mid Tier. These weapons perform well but do not stand out:
Whether the Necrochasm is truly bottom tier is certainly debatable. Datto justifies this as the explosions from the perk have a very small radius, and the auto rifle archetype of the Necrochasm does not convince in PvE. Nevertheless, the Necrochasm can be a lot of fun when Arc Burn is active.
