What makes “The 4th Horseman” special in Destiny
The 4th Horseman is a shotgun with low impact but increased fire rate. It deals Arc damage. It can be fired in fully automatic mode, achieving an extreme rate of fire, and is therefore considered a “fun weapon.” However, its range and reload speed are quite poor. Here are the specific stats:

- Return to Sender: Kills with this weapon can return bonus ammo directly to the magazine.
- Thunderer: This weapon can be fired in fully automatic mode.
- Last Round: The last round of every magazine deals bonus precision damage.
You have the choice between:
- Quickdraw
- Customized Stock: Increases weapon stability
- Handloaded: The weapon is effective at a greater range
Additionally, you can influence range, impact, and recoil with Improved Ballistics, Close Range Ballistics, and Field Choke.
The 4th Horseman looks stylish but is unfortunately not recommended. In PvE, it performs better than in PvP, as Arc damage and the Thunderer perk are interesting: If you find yourself surrounded by enemies, you can blast the shotgun in their faces at a speed that’s enjoyable. “Return to Sender” is useful, so you don’t run out of ammo too quickly.
Currently, there is a shotgun meta in PvP, of which The 4th Horseman does not benefit. High-impact and high-range shotguns are the “must-haves,” and The 4th Horseman lacks both.
