The Black Spindle. A weapon that every Guardian always had in their inventory – if they owned it. This sniper was introduced with the “The Dark Below” DLC and could only be found in the Crota raid. The Black Spindle was one reason Crota was killed so often and in so many different ways.
The Black Spindle was a high-impact sniper rifle with outstanding abilities for PvE:
Firstly, the perks were exceptional. With “White Nail”, your magazine was replenished from nothing if you could land three quick precision hits in a row. That meant you could take aim at a hefty boss from a safe distance and land precision hits endlessly – without reloading. If a shot did miss, Mulligan gave you the chance to have the ammo return directly to the magazine. Hive Disruptor added increased damage to Hive majors.
Furthermore, it was a legendary weapon. In other words, you had a powerful weapon equipped and still space for an Exotic.
