SUROS-Regime – If you didn’t have it, you were doing something wrong

Unlike the Vex Mythoclast, SUROS-Regime came from multiple sources. It is a powerful auto rifle that became even more powerful due to its special perks. Moreover, the kills could return health.

In the early months of Destiny, the motto in the crucible was: “Either you have an auto rifle, or you are doing something wrong.” Especially the powerful weapons prevailed. And in this case, it was ultimately the SUROS-Regime that turned out to be the weapon of choice. The power of its perks clearly overshadowed that of other weapons.

Since Xur repeatedly brought SUROS-Regime in the early weeks, a “Queen’s rule” developed in the PvP. In contrast to Vex Mythoclast, it was accessible to many Guardians.

In the following months, the outstanding auto rifles were nerfed. Since then, SUROS-Regime was no longer considered an “over weapon”, but still a popular alternative. It was no longer the PvP weapon for every occasion.

In Year 2 of Destiny, it received a new version with a black paint job. However, it has not yet matched its strength from the early days of Destiny.

By the way: SUROS-Regime was once supposed to be named “Arcus Regime”, after all, it came into the Destiny universe with the name of a prominent weapon manufacturer.
