The Proud Tower’s Peak was forged in honor of Silimar. The shotgun has a high fire rate but low impact. Stability, reload speed, magazine size, and aim assist are excellent, but the range could be higher:
How does The Proud Tower’s Peak fit into the current shotgun meta in PvP? Currently, shotguns with high impact and range, such as Matador 64, dominate. In the Crucible, the Iron Banner shotgun is not recommended.
In PvE, however, it is interesting: it favors a run-and-gun playstyle. Therefore, for perks, you shouldn’t try to compensate for the Peak’s weaknesses but rather emphasize its strengths. Perks such as Lightweight, One-Poin Sling, Full Auto, Slideways, Mass Control, or Life Support fit this playstyle excellently.
Nonetheless: The Proud Tower’s Peak is neither a top-tier weapon in PvE nor PvP.
