In Destiny, the weekly PvP playlist has been changed. The reason for this is a glitch affecting the Guardians’ supers.
As early as mid-February, we reported on a glitch that allowed Titans infinite hammers and also let the Blade Dancer act endlessly. A good month later, this glitch is still at large.
It works in both PvE and PvP: You only need a charged super, a Sparrow, and the right timing. Since a Sparrow is necessary, you shouldn’t worry in most Crucible modes about becoming a victim of this mischief. You should avoid the “Combined Arms” mode: Here you fight 6v6 with vehicles.
Combined Arms was replaced this week
As early as mid-February, the weekly PvP playlist was “Combined Arms”. In this featured PvP mode, you could win a Radiant Treasure and 10 Legendary Marks. However, Bungie intervened a few hours after the weekly reset. They wrote: To address an urgent issue, Combined Arms is replaced by Witch’s Brew: Conflict.
And that’s exactly what happened again after the this week’s weekly reset. Bungie did not comment on Twitter this week, yet Combined Arms was once again replaced by Witch’s Brew: Conflict. In this mode, while many flying hammers can still be expected, it at least has its justification.
When Bungie will be able to eliminate this glitch remains to be seen. With the upcoming content update “Age of Triumph”, there would be an opportunity, for example. This update brings, in addition to upgraded raids and a record book, also a sandbox patch. Perhaps with the Age of Triumph, the age of the super glitch will come to an end.
