In Destiny, a Guardian has managed to complete the new 390 Light level version of Crota’s End solo. You can see the complete solo run here.
Crota is the unluckiest of all raid bosses: In the past, he has been defeated solo countless times, he has even been yelled and danced to death. This raid boss has had to endure a lot. There have surely been more solo runs in this raid than in any other Destiny raid.
With the Age of Triumph, “Crota’s End” was slightly revised to prevent the masses of solo runs. Especially the bridge phase, which posed no problems with certain tricks in Year 1, underwent changes.
That the new 390 version can also be mastered completely solo is now demonstrated by the YouTuber Esoterickk in an impressive video:
Here are the timestamps:
00:00 – Solo 390 Abyss (Lamp Phase)
08:05 – Solo 390 Bridge
25:57 – Solo 390 Deathsinger
28:23 – Solo 390 Crota
Crota remains solo conquerable
The lamp phase is no problem for the YouTuber: With his Sunsinger Warlock (who can revive himself with his super), he quickly gets through this phase with grenades and the Zhalo Supercell.
According to his own statements, the new bridge phase was the biggest hurdle in this raid. However, he found a method with the Sunsinger Warlock and its self-revive to successfully complete it.
With the sword of the Swordbearer, he swings over the bridge, which may sound familiar to some of you, then he takes down a Gatekeeper, allows himself to die, and respawns on the other side of the bridge. He does this as often as necessary until the swords spawn and he can illuminate the remaining statues.
On his way to the Deathsinger and Crota, he grabs the chest and then defeats Ir Yut with his sword. Against Crota, he proceeds solo as one would know from Year 1: Kill Swordbearers, pick up the sword, go right onto the rock, drop the sword, deal damage to Crota, pick up the sword again and unleash full power. This time, however, you also have to take care of the Oversoul.
Sounds easier than it is. In the video, you can see how he managed this strong run. What do you think about it?
