Sony will release a Limited Edition of their Playstation 4 at the launch of the expansion “The Taken King” for Destiny .
On September 15, a PS4 bundle with the Collector’s Edition of The Taken King, the new Destiny expansion, will be released. This includes the legendary edition of The Taken King, the base game, the 3 expansions, exotic class items with XP bonus, armor shaders, weapon packs, and the emotes – basically the digital Collector’s Edition.
It is a white 500GB PS4 designed in the Destiny style. There are some really nice pics of it. On the console itself, there is a “Map of the Cosmos” in silver, along with a golden symbol of hope.
In Germany, the edition will be exclusively available at Media Markt.
In addition to the white edition, a “black” edition is also announced. This is probably not a “Limited Edition”, but a regular bundle. This includes: A Playstation 4, the Dualshock 4 in Jet Black, and the legendary edition of The Taken King.
Sony casually mentions, and surely not without ulterior motives, that Destiny players can transfer their progress from Playstation 3 to Playstation 4.
