In Destiny, you need SIVA offerings to play the Archon’s Forge. We show you farming methods to quickly obtain some.
Since “Rise of Iron,” there are numerous ways to reach Light Level 385. This includes the Archon’s Forge, the new PvE arena in Destiny. However, it is not possible to simply enter and start looting. You have a prerequisite: SIVA offerings.
These offerings, in English “SIVA Offerings,” come in various qualities that influence the Light Level requirements. They also spawn different SIVA enemy types, such as Outcasts, Captains, or Servitors.
According to the in-game description, a SIVA offering is used to unleash the wrath of the Devil Splicers in the Archon’s Forge. You can find plenty of information on the Archon’s Forge here.
How to Efficiently Obtain SIVA Offerings?
Bungie does not make it easy to “farm” SIVA offerings. On one hand, they are random drops, so you have to rely largely on luck. On the other hand, each character can only hold one offering in their inventory; they are not stackable.
Below, we present two methods currently considered good sources for fast SIVA offering drops.
SIVA Captain
A special SIVA Captain seems to frequently drop the offerings. He is located at the spot where the mission “When the Walls Fall” ends. This is where you need to find the sensor grid.
To do this, traverse the chasm, reach the rocket base, keep to the right and go into the following room where the Captain with the yellow health bar is located: Here, the chance is high for him to drop rare offerings.
Giant’s Shell
To start this, begin the patrol in the Plaguelands, race to the right with your Sparrow, and arrive in the area “Giant’s Shell.” Then go left, climb the cut metal, and kill the Splicers that spawn below you. After a short time, a lot of loot will be on the ground, including, with a bit of luck, also SIVA offerings. However, this only works if no one else is in the area, as otherwise, no or very few enemies will appear. This is demonstrated in the following video:
By the way: If you fail in the arena, you lose a SIVA offering. If you want to try again, you must search for another one.
