In the MMO shooter Destiny, maintenance is taking place today, June 28, on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The servers are down. The Iron Banner is delayed.
After the issues brought by update 2.3.0, Bungie already rolled out a hotfix last week, which allowed the Trials of Osiris to take place. Before the Iron Banner, the monthly PvP event begins, Bungie wants to address this again: Maintenance is taking place today.
At 5 PM our time, preparations will begin. Guardians will no longer be able to log in.
At 6 PM, the servers will be taken offline. All players will be kicked from their activities – so make sure to finish them beforehand and do not start any new ones.
The server downtime will last several hours – approximately five! You will be able to play Destiny again around 11 PM.
When does the June Iron Banner begin?
Usually, the Iron Banner starts at 7 PM. Since maintenance is scheduled for this time today, the date will be postponed. According to Bungie, the Iron Banner will wait for us. When the servers are back online, it will likely be ready.
