Was Kabr found in the Glass Chamber? A Guardian found something strange in the Vex raid.
On Reddit, a Guardian presents his latest discovery in the Glass Chamber. He donned the “Vault of Glass” armor with his Warlock, equipped the raid weapons, and started the Paradox mission. This mission takes place in the Glass Chamber, where a signal is to be investigated.
The Guardian reports that he was not looking for any secrets at all. He just wanted to reminisce a little when suddenly he found a dead Guardian in the Templar’s Source.
He recognized that the Guardian was wearing Kabr’s armor and as he approached the corpse, he was able to revive Kabr. What happened next shocked him, causing him to accidentally leap backwards to his death. However, he managed to record this strange event on video. At least, that’s what he reports. See for yourself:
Kabr in the Paradox mission? No, but a strong fan-made video
Although the Guardian reports his experience very seriously and the video initially looks “real” – of course, it is a fake.
Nevertheless, the Guardians celebrate it – probably because it brings back numerous memories of the hunt for secrets in the Glass Chamber. Some users write that they nearly flipped out when they saw the beginning of the video. They praise the editing and prophesy that this will be the next video of the week. The post on Reddit received thousands of upvotes within a few hours.
By the way: Kabr was a Titan who entered the Glass Chamber first and became obsessed with it. He built armor from the parts of fallen Vex, which, however, attacked his mind. In the end, he created the Aegis from his light, inflicting a wound on the Chamber and eventually enabling the Guardians to defeat Atheon. After his work, his last words were:
“I destroyed myself by doing this. They took my mind. They are in my blood and my brain. But now there is hope. […] Now it is done. If I speak again, I am no longer Kabr.”
