Is there news from the data miners in the MMO shooter Destiny? This time it’s about the PvP event “Iron Banner.” Could it start tomorrow, but Bungie keeps it from us.
The Japanese leaker Megaman has addressed players with a cryptic message. For a long time, hot information about Xur’s inventory, the weekly Nightfall strike, Bungie’s scheduling, or the release date of House of Wolves came from his messages to the subreddit DestinyTheGame.
However, the source of information seems to be drying up.
Have the gaps been found and closed; no more predictions possible?

Although Xur’s presence has diminished, he still predicted in recent weeks what would happen on Tuesday in Destiny, whether a special event is coming up or which Nightfall strike it would be. This weekend, that was absent.
And apparently, this will be the case in the future. Because the “weekly Nightfall” strikes can no longer be predicted accurately, according to Megaman. Bungie has likely taken measures to block access to information. So while Megaman thinks that tomorrow, on April 14,, Sepiks Prime is up, he’s not sure.
It is even trickier with the Iron Banner: Originally, an “Iron Banner” was scheduled for April 14 and predicted as such. When Megaman tried again to confirm the information, it was missing. It could therefore be that Bungie has changed the plans and that no Iron Banner will start on April 14.
Megaman himself expects that it will no longer be possible to access data about House of Wolves in the future. At least not with his method. This will likely end with patch 1.1.2.

Fans have their own theory
Some fans have developed their own theory about the Iron Banner. In the past, players could bypass the reputation farming in the current Iron Banner with a special trick and directly pick up solid items. They had to wait in orbit beforehand and then log in precisely. They could wait because they knew exactly when the Iron Banner would start.
The theory now suggests: Perhaps the Iron Banner will indeed start on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. But Bungie tells us nothing so that we cannot use the glitch and that we do not experience this again:
The theory is fueled by the fact that the Bungie event calendar does not list any Iron Banner, nor any marked “date to be determined.” However, there could be a much simpler explanation for all of this: The Iron Banner will not come until a week later on April 21.
In any case, it seems that not only Fridays in Destiny will become more exciting in the future, but also Tuesdays. However, there will surely be some cautious players who would rather wait in orbit shortly before 11:00 AM tomorrow.
