This character setup builds on the Solar Grenade of the Sunsinger and on the exotic gloves “Sunsinger’s Regalia”. This piece of armor comes with this useful perk:
- Helium Cycle: Increases the duration of the Solar Grenade and you get an additional Solar Grenade charge.
Furthermore, the Sunsinger’s gloves increase grenade throw distance and provide movement transfer (melee energy on grenade hits) or impact induction (grenade energy on melee hits). This piece of armor is fully specialized on the Solar Grenade.
For the remaining armor pieces, you should ensure that intellect (for super) and discipline (for grenade) are maxed out. The artifact used here is Gheleon’s Rest, which gives you a detailed radar that remains active even with the primary weapon equipped.
For the focus, these focus nodes are important:
- Solar Grenade
- Radiant Skin: Light reduces damage taken while active.
- Flame Shield: Damage dealt with Incinerate (melee) temporarily reduces damage taken.
- Arcane Spirit, Divine Order
- Viking Burial: Targets ignited by you take more damage from all sources.
- Flaming Touch: All grenades ignite enemies and deal damage over time.

A major advantage of this build lies in the defense: Especially when heavy ammo comes, you can claim it for yourself with the grenade flood. Since the Solar Grenades have a longer duration, no opposing Guardian can get close to you quickly. With the Sunsinger’s gloves, the grenades last about 12 seconds, without the exotic around 6 seconds.
An alternative to Sunsinger’s Regalia is the chest piece Heart of Praxic Fire. When Radiance is active, all ability cooldowns are reduced. This means you can throw grenades even faster than with Sunsinger’s Regalia. However, since Solar Grenades burn twice as long with the gloves, these are preferred.
