In the shared-world shooter Destiny, the Prophet Megaman has returned and predicted the weekly Nightfall Strike for next week, starting Tuesday, March 24th.
At Xur, he was at least partially correct, but now problems are arising. However, for the weekly Nightfall Strike, his record is still flawless: The Japanese oracle Megaman, likely a dataminer, has always predicted it correctly.
And it is likely to be the same next week. It’s against everyone’s favorite ogre and it’s buzzing nicely again: The weekly Nightfall Strike from March 24th to March 31st is “Ocean of Storms,” the Phogoth Strike, with the modifier “Arc Burn.” Down into the Summoning Pits, Guardians.
Modifiers for the Weekly Nightfall Strike starting March 24th
The modifiers are:
- Nightfall – The death of the entire fireteam causes all enemies to spontaneously respawn, and the strike must be started over
- Epic – Enemies are harder than on heroic
- Lightswitch – Enemy close-range damage is significantly increased, Guardians basically have a glass jaw
- Angry – enemies will not be stopped even by heavy hits
- Arc Burn – Arc damage is significantly increased
The weekly heroic strike also has Arc Burn active. This should go relatively quickly.
Which weapons should I level up until then?
The Phogoth Arc Burn is a very typical Arc Strike.
- Especially sniper rifles are in demand here: Therefore, sniper rifles like Patience and Time, or Arc versions of LDR 5001 or an Efrideet’s Spear.
- Thunderlord or Ir Yût’s Song are a good choice among the heavy weapons.
- As a primary weapon, you might want to take a closer look at Soul’s Release, Ir Yût’s Fang or the Fatebringer.
