If you want to draw more insights from the rather opaque story of Destiny, there is not much left to do but to struggle through the Grimoire cards on bungie.net. This tedious text work is all Bungie has provided us regarding the background story.
But those who know Destiny fans know that they are quite clever and – in this case – also artistically creative. Some artists have sat down and illustrated the story. One might wonder why Bungie doesn’t do something similar.
Especially the “Books of Sorrow,” the books of grief, would be suitable to be presented in a more accessible manner. They are considered one of the most interesting stories that came with the TTK expansion. This Hive Bible goes back thousands of years and tells the origin and the story of the Hive, from Crota to Oryx. Over 50 Grimoire cards deal with these books.
Bungie, you could definitely prepare it more compactly and visually! Would you be interested in that as well?
