Anyone who wants to play Destiny needs a console. Without PS4, PS3, Xbox One, or Xbox 360, you can’t enjoy the life of a Guardian and become a legend. PC players are out of luck.

Rumors of a PC version of Destiny have surfaced from time to time. However, there is still no sign of it. Even “The Rise of Iron” will not support PC, but only PS4 and Xbox One.
What about a PC version of Destiny?
In an interview with GameSpot, Bungie director Christopher Barret discussed a possible implementation of Destiny for PC. This is the first time anyone from Bungie has commented on the PC version since Activision’s Eric Hirshberg in June 2014.
According to Barrett, a PC version is not ruled out, but one shouldn’t expect it too soon. He explains:
There are no updates on this today, but we are always looking at which platforms make sense for Destiny.
According to the Game Director, it was a very good time for Bungie to focus on current-gen consoles. 90% of players are on PS4 and Xbox One. If they had continued to support last-gen with content, everyone would have had to make compromises.
It seems that a PC version is still a distant dream. However, it is not ruled out.
