In Destiny, there is a note that there will only be two bosses for the raid challenge of “Wrath of the Machine.”
Only a few days ago, the heroic mode of “Wrath of the Machine” went live, but even now, we want to look to the future of this raid: The raid challenges.
These will come, that is already certain. Bungie stated that more information will be shared in the coming weeks. However, there is still no launch date for the raid challenges.
Vosik and Aksis – What about the Siege Engine?
Now a display has appeared in the Destiny app:
It shows that both Vosik, the first boss, can challenge you, as well as Aksis, the final boss. However, the third major raid encounter is missing: The Siege Engine.
Raid challenges have only existed in the King’s Fall raid so far. There, the Warpriest, Golgoroth, and Oryx personally welcome you weekly for the challenge. Compared to these, the Siege Engine is not necessarily seen as a typical boss enemy.
The graphic also shows a reset timer, which is simply incorrect. The display overall is just a bug in the system. Therefore, it cannot currently be stated with certainty that only these two bosses in “Wrath of the Machine” will be responsible for the challenge. However, it seems very likely.
It is also interesting to question how the challenges will play out with Vosik and Aksis. After all, both bosses can be divided into two phases. Possibly, certain conditions will need to be met in both phases. However, the Guardians will have to figure out how to extract the extra loot from the bosses.
Raid ornaments will only come in the challenge
Since the heroic mode of the raid has been active, some Guardians are wondering how to obtain the raid ornaments in “Wrath of the Machine.”
