In the MMO shooter Destiny, there will be no new subclasses for Guardians with “The Rise of Iron”.
At the launch of Destiny, each class had two subclasses, “focuses”. Since the “The Taken King” DLC, each class has an additional focus in their repertoire. The focuses provide your Guardian with various super attacks and abilities, based on the three elemental damages.
As Scott Taylor reveals in an interview with PlayStationLifeStyle, players shouldn’t hold their breath for new subclasses to come with “Rise of Iron”.
No new focuses, but other things
According to Taylor, there will be no new focuses in the fall expansion. However, other “things” are expected to come that will allow you to improve your Guardians’ power. More information will be shared later in the summer. They are already very excited about this.
Furthermore, Taylor confirmed that Bungie will introduce “similar things” to the Light Spark: This will allow Guardians to start directly with “Rise of Iron” when they purchase Destiny fresh.
The Light Spark came with “The Taken King” and brought the Guardians directly to level 25.
