In Destiny new ornaments and masks are known. These will be available with the “Festival of the Lost”.
With the Patch 2.4.1 some changes came to Bungie’s MMO shooter, most of which are already active, but some only set the stage for future events. For example, there were changes to the horns, which prepare for the Sparrow Racing Event in December. In addition, there are already ornaments and masks in the game that can be obtained during the “Festival of the Lost“.
The Festival of the Lost will be the next big thing in Destiny. It is scheduled to start in October, presumably next week. Last year it took place from October 26 to November 9, 2015. This event is basically Halloween in Destiny. The Guardians laugh in the face of death and honor the spirits of the dead, guardians and citizens alike.
New Weapon Ornaments
Since the update 2.4.1 there are concrete indications of new weapon ornaments that will soon be integrated into the game. The biggest “leak” concerns the new ornaments of the exotic pulse rifle “Bad Karma”. These can already be displayed in-game.

Bungie has already commented on these two ornaments: They can only be obtained with the return of the “Festival of the Lost”. However, a specific date is still unknown.
There are further hints of new ornaments that Bungie has not yet commented on. In the perk overview, a separator line is displayed for these, which separates the ornaments from the other perks. While the ornaments are still missing, the separator line is already there. If you check the material details of the weapon, they will be displayed.
As with Red Death: Here the ornaments are called “White Witch” and “Steel Witch”. What the gun looks like with these can only be guessed based on the ornament symbols.

With the Last Word there is also this separator line. In addition, two unnamed ornaments are displayed in the material details. However, the symbols are those of the ornaments of the Hawkmoon. Whether this is just a bug or if the Last Word will receive the same ornaments as the Hawkmoon is still unknown.

When these ornaments will come into the game is unknown. They may also come with the “Festival of the Lost”, like the ornaments of Bad Karma.
New Masks
A Festival of the Lost would be nothing without masks. A new kiosk has been set up in the North Tower where you can reacquire all your “holiday items”. This collection is located next to the collections of badges and shaders:
All items of the festival have already been discovered in the databases, including emotes, ghost shells, shaders, a sparrow, the two “Bad Karma” ornaments, quests, consumables, and new as well as revised masks. All items are compiled in this Reddit thread.
