In Destiny there are countless new Exotics, raid gear, and raid ornaments known from Age of Triumph. All information and screenshots here.
With the Age of Triumph, starting next week on March 28th, the old raids are returning. This means that the Vault of Glass, Crota’s End, King’s Fall, and Wrath of the Machine will all have a 390 Light level version and can drop items up to 400. The two raids from Year 1 will receive new challenge modes.
Additionally, all four raids will have new items to obtain: ornaments, raid gear, and legendary weapons and exotics that can reach the maximum level.
Please note:
- Raid primary weapons (Gjallarhorn and others) will have a standard version and an adept version.
- The standard version is legendary and has no elemental damage.
- The adept version is exotic, has elemental damage, and comes with a new look. If you want to use these primary weapons with elemental damage, you will need to sacrifice your exotic slot for it. In other words: The Zhalo Supercell will face competition.
- You can obtain the adept versions by mastering the challenge modes in the raids.
- The primary weapons from the King’s Fall raid and Wrath of the Machine will also receive adept versions that deal elemental damage.
- Raid gear will still look like Year 1 without ornaments. Hamrick confirmed this via Twitter.
- All raid armor pieces will have two ornament slots. So far, only ornaments for one slot have been shown.
- You will receive ornament tokens through the weekly raids. There are no specific raid ornaments, but only ones that fit the armor pieces from all raids.
In yesterday’s livestream about the Sandbox update of Age of Triumph, the developers held a fashion show. Each a Titan, a Hunter, and a Warlock were dressed in the new ornaments and got to present them along with exotic weapons.
