In the MMO shooter Destiny , Bungie recently shared the first images of exotic weapons and armor on Instagram.
As announced, there are first official images of exotic weapons and armor that go beyond the already confirmed Sleeper Simulant and the Jade Rabbit.
Titan Helmet with Superhero Style
At 7:00 PM, Bungie published the following image on their Instagram account.
This is the Titan helmet “Empyrean Bellicose“. The twist with this helmet is that when Titans aim in the air with it, they hang in the air for a moment. When your Super is full and they collect Light Orbs, the melee attack becomes active again.
The Chaperone, a Companion for Every Occasion
At 8:00 PM, this thing arrived:
This is the shotgun “The Chaperone“. It fires a single heavy shot and grants the wielder agility. Precision kills with The Chaperone provide a short bonus to handling, range, fire rate, and stability.
Warlock Chest Makes Lead into Gold
At 9:00 PM, this chest was newly added:
The exotic Warlock chest “Alchemist Raiment” (Alchemist clothing) essentially turns “lead into gold” in the old alchemist way. Collecting ammo for primary weapons gives a chance to generate Glimmer. Collecting Light Orbs when the Super is full recharges grenades and the melee attack.
Telesto – Fusion Rifle with Adhesive Effect
At 10:00 PM, this new weapon was presented:
The exotic fusion rifle “Telesto” attaches projectiles to enemies, which then trigger a delayed Void explosion. Multi-kills with the weapon generate Light Orbs for team members.
New Hunter Claws
At 11:00 PM, the following was shown:
The exotic Hunter gloves “Sealed Ahamkara Grasps” (sealed claws of the Ahamkara) are clearly designed for melee combat, also looking like claws. They grant an additional charge for the melee attack. And melee damage dealt has a chance to reload primary weapons.
The Sleeper Simulant
Finally, Xur showed at midnight:
This is the Sleeper Simulant. It has already been extensively presented. A fusion rifle as a heavy weapon, firing beams that can then bounce off enemies or “solid surfaces”.
By the way: Since 7:00 PM, the Iron Banner is also active in Destiny. Rewards include the shotgun, the auto rifle, helmets, and boots. We will report in detail about this tomorrow. But for now: Exotics!
